Murrelektronik Expands Motor Connectivity with MQ15-X-Power and M23-Drive Ranges
Murrelektronik has introduced new motor connectivity solutions addressing applications from asynchronous motors to high-performance servo motors, with two key product lines gaining significant market interest .
MQ15-X-Power Range:
A cost-effective solution providing connectivity to asynchronous and three-phase electric motors up to 7.5kW. The M15 connection technology offers quick, easy motor connectivity with reverse polarity protection. The connector features three power contacts rated at 630V AC/DC up to 16A, PE, and two auxiliary contacts (63V AC/DC up to 10A). Over-moulded plugs ensure IP67 sealing (when mated) and eliminate wiring errors. The range includes M20 bulkhead connectors for simple mounting on motor terminal boxes .
M23-Drive Range:
An established standard solution for connecting servo motors, offering one of the most powerful 8-pole M23 connectors on the market. Features include:
630V AC/DC, 28A per pin for power contacts
300V AC/DC, 8A for signal contacts
360° shielding for very low interference emissions
High-quality locking mechanism ensuring sealed connections even when exposed to oils and lubricants
Hexagonal locking nut with torque wrench compatibility
Integrated push-on conduit connection for flexible corrugated conduit
