KLOTZ Launches 12-Channel AES/EBU Multicore for Touring and Live Events
In July 2026, KLOTZ expanded its portfolio with the K12RM, a high-quality 12-channel digital multicore system designed for demanding touring, broadcast, and live event environments.
The K12RM is based on the proven OmniLIVE multicore cable with a characteristic impedance of 110 ohms, making it equally suitable for AES/EBU digital audio and analog audio applications. Its high-quality construction and effective shielding ensure interference-free signal transmission, even under the most demanding operating conditions.
Equipped with two rugged RMP 37p circular connectors featuring gold-plated male and female contacts, the system delivers durable and reliable connections. Designed for more than 2,000 mating cycles, the connectors maintain consistently high contact quality even with frequent setup and teardown. Protective caps on both cable ends safeguard the contacts during transport and storage.
Key Features:
IP67 protection rating when connected or fitted with protective caps, providing excellent resistance against dust, moisture, and other environmental influences
Robust ZEP plastic strain relief enhancing mechanical durability for everyday professional use
Compatibility with LK, Tourline, CIRLK, and other connector systems based on the MIL-C-5015 standard, integrating seamlessly into existing infrastructures
With the K12RM, KLOTZ addresses professional users who require a rugged, durable, and highly compatible multicore solution for premium-quality audio transmission in demanding live sound, touring, and broadcast applications.
