Nexans Launches Locally Produced H1Z2Z2-K Solar Cable in Sweden
In February 2026, Nexans introduced its new H1Z2Z2-K solar cable, a DC cable connecting solar panels to inverters, produced at the company’s facility in Grimsås, Sweden.
Product Specifications:
Available in 4, 6, and 10 mm², in red and black versions
Supplied on a drum or in smart Cable Guy packaging
Features Lifemark™ recycling marking
Laser-marked meter markings for easy installation
Sustainability Focus:
Nexans emphasizes that the cable is locally produced, reducing transport distances. As Finland aims to become climate neutral by 2035, solar energy plays an increasingly important role. Nexans states: “Our future is defined by sustainable practices and requires drive, innovation, investments, and knowledge—qualities that have characterized Nexans Sweden since 1948.”
The H1Z2Z2-K completes Nexans’ solar energy product range, enabling customers to use Nexans cables throughout their entire solar installation.
