WAGO Expands 221 Series with High-Density and Sustainable Terminal Blocks
WAGO has launched two new products in its popular 221 series, designed to provide users with greater choice, improved efficiency, and enhanced sustainability without compromising quality .
Product 1: Orange Range 221-420 Terminal Block
Features an unprecedented 10-conductor configuration
Maintains the same technical properties as standard 221 4mm² products
Ideal for compact spaces with dense wiring needs, such as control cabinets and lighting systems
Reduces or eliminates the need for jumpering
David Draper, Product Manager, stated: “The 221-420 terminal block provides more connectors in less space, making it a better, simple, safe and fast way to connect... It is an ideal solution for installations where board space is at a premium” .
Product 2: Green Range Splicing Connector
Same technical performance as the familiar Orange Range product
Lever handles derived at least 26% from reused PET bottles
Housing made from up to 77% bio-circular waste (waste fats, waste from cooking oil production)
Expanded Green Range now includes 4mm Inline & 6mm side entry versions
David Draper added: “Our aim is to reduce our consumption of fossil resources using plastics from secondary sources... with a certification of origin, helping us to conserve fossil resources and keep existing plastics in circulation” .
