Siemens Unveils LOGO! 9: The New Generation of Intelligent Logic Controller
Siemens has launched LOGO! 9, the latest generation of its proven intelligent logic controller, marking a comprehensive generational change after 11 years and setting new standards in "Everyday Automation" . Available from April 1, 2026, LOGO! 9 combines the computing power and security standards of larger systems with the familiar simplicity of a compact logic module .
Key Performance Enhancements :
Double the function block count – up to 800, enabling significantly more complex logic applications
Extended expansion level – up to 64 digital inputs, 60 digital outputs, and 16 analog inputs/outputs
New analog expansion module (AM4) with selectable analog resolution
Floating-point number support for precise measured value processing

New touch color display (320×240 px) directly on the base module
Optional 4.3-inch LOGO! text display (480×272 px) with two Ethernet ports
LOGO! Soft Comfort Version 9 supports Windows, macOS, and Linux
New User Management (UMAC) with 4 roles for clear rights distribution
