ICP DAS Launches (P)ET-2254 Universal Digital I/O Module with High-Current Output
Following its (P)ET-2252 release, ICP DAS introduced the (P)ET-2254, a 16-channel universal digital I/O module available in PoE and DC-powered versions. Each channel can be configured as either digital input or output, with each output capable of driving up to 100 mA (standard) or 350 mA (high-current P version) .
Key Features:
16-channel bidirectional universal DIO (DI: sink, DO: source for standard; DI: source, DO: sink for P version)
Dual power input (+10 to +48 VDC) on both versions for enhanced redundancy—if one power source fails, the other takes over immediately
Supports Modbus TCP/UDP, MQTT, and SNMP V2c protocols
Integrated 2-port Ethernet switch with LAN Bypass for daisy-chain wiring
I/O Pair-Connection function enables DI-to-DO pairing over Ethernet using push/pull mode
Built-in web server and dual watchdog mechanisms
This module is designed for critical environments where power redundancy and high-current output capability are essential.
