400 kV Eco-Friendly Transformer with Biodegradable Oil Supplied to UK's National Grid
HD Hyundai Electric Co. announced in April 2026 it is supplying a 400 kV, 460 MVA-class eco-friendly transformer using biodegradable synthetic ester oil to National Grid Plc of Britain. This is the largest capacity transformer of its kind developed in South Korea .
