BizLink Hybrid Motor Cable with PLTC-ER Approval for Open Installation
In November 2025, BizLink launched an innovative hybrid motor cable with PLTC-ER (Power Limited Tray Cable – Exposed Run) approval, setting new standards for installation safety and efficiency in industrial environments.
Key Feature: PLTC-ER Approval
This certification, based on the US National Electrical Code (NEC, Article 725) and UL standards, allows the cable to be laid openly without additional protective conduits, greatly simplifying installation and reducing material and labor costs.
Technical Specifications:
Combines power, control, and data elements in a single, slim hybrid design
Four power cores for power transmission, four shielded control cores, and an optional shielded coaxial element for data transmission
Highly flame-retardant PVC outer sheath with operating temperature range of -10°C to +90°C (static to -40°C)
Compliance and Safety:
To obtain PLTC-ER certification, the cable undergoes rigorous flame tests in accordance with UL 1685 FT4 and UL 1581 FT1. It also meets IEC 60332-1-2 requirements.
