Magnetic Contactor Wiring for Power Control

Magnetic contactors (MC) are used in Panasonic servo systems to switch the main power supply on and off, providing a critical safety function .
MC Wiring Considerations:
Position between noise filter and servo driver
Install coil surge suppression units with the contactor
Do not start or stop the servo motor using the magnetic contactor
Coil Surge Suppression:
Surge suppression units protect the contactor contacts from voltage spikes during switching, extending component life and reducing electrical noise in the system .
Noise Filter Placement:
Install the noise filter between the circuit breaker and magnetic contactor to effectively reduce conducted noise from the power supply lines .
