KONE's patented rope installation method uses a car-mounted system that simplifies the rope replacement process .
How It Works:
Multiple rope reels are mounted on the elevator car
Ropes pass to a rope wheel mounted separately from the car
Ropes are clamped on the car
Moving the car vertically pulls ropes from the reels
This method improves installation efficiency and reduces the complexity of rope replacement in high-rise buildings.
