The Dortmund Christmas City, one of the largest Christmas markets in Europe, will return in 2026 with over 250 stalls offering handicrafts, Christmas decorations, unusual toys, and culinary delights. The market runs from November 19 to December 30, 2026.
Key Attraction: The market is home to the world's largest Christmas tree – a towering 45-meter structure adorned with approximately 138,000 LED lights. Starting at 5 p.m. daily, visitors can enjoy a spectacular light show with changing effects every half hour.
