On February 10, the twelve young women who embodied the 2026 Carnival, known as the "Marie," participated in a distinctive photography competition called "The Twelfth Maria". Held in the magnificent Chapter Hall of the Scuola Grande San Giovanni Evangelista, the event invited photography enthusiasts to capture the Marie in a magical atmosphere where past and present intertwined. The Marie modeled exquisite, one-of-a-kind gowns from Atelier Pietro Longhi, which were originally used for the "Maria of the Year" proclamation over the past 12 editions, creating a unique blend of tradition and artistry.
