Yiwu's merchants have adapted to changing buyer habits, with orders now coming in months earlier than in previous years. European buyers, who typically placed orders between June and August, are now purchasing much earlier.
This has required Yiwu factories to adjust their production schedules and workforce planning. One factory owner noted that the "early bird" trend has kept them busy year-round, with no downtime between the Spring Festival and the Christmas export rush.
