JD Industrial Partners with Shangshang Cable to Successfully Fulfill a Multi-Million Yuan Project in Malaysia
Recently, JD Industrial, in partnership with Shangshang Cable, completed the first order via its cross-border wire and cable platform in Malaysia. Valued at over 10 million RMB, the project encompassed the entire process from tender procurement to final delivery. The cables have been successfully delivered to and accepted at the construction site of a leading Chinese new energy battery company’s Phase II plant in Malaysia.
This collaboration stemmed from an urgent procurement request in September 2025, when JD Industrial’s Malaysia team met the client’s needs in a timely manner through local spot supply. For the Phase II plant construction, JD Industrial and Shangshang Cable successfully won the bid by leveraging superior product quality, cost-effectiveness, and robust fulfillment capabilities. Chinese cable products hold a unique advantage in the Malaysian market: while local cable specifications often differ from the design standards used by Chinese-funded enterprises, Chinese cables offer enhanced cost competitiveness driven by their value-for-money and relevant tax subsidy policies.
