Asia Electric Power Exhibition Opens in Guangzhou, Featuring Smart Early-Warning Cables
On July 16, 2026, the Asia Electric Power and Digital Grid Exhibition, Asia New Power System and Energy Storage Exhibition, and Asia Wire and Cable Industry Exhibition opened in Guangzhou, bringing together over 500 companies from the global energy, power, storage, and cable sectors.
According to the "China Electric Power Industry Annual Development Report 2026" released by the China Electricity Council, by the end of 2025, China's installed power generation capacity reached 3,896.64 GW, a year-on-year increase of 16.2%, with wind and solar power installations accounting for 47.3% of the total, surpassing thermal power for the first time.
At the exhibition, Wanma Co., Ltd. showcased its intelligent safety power solutions, with smart early-warning cables as the highlight. These cables continuously collect and analyze operational data 24/7, providing second-level early warning for risks such as overheating, external damage, and insulation abnormalities, reducing maintenance pressure and electrical safety risks.
