AutomationDirect Adds Murrelektronik M8 and M12 Sensor Cables
In July 2026, AutomationDirect expanded its product portfolio by adding M8 and M12 4-pin A-coded sensor and signal cables from Murrelektronik. These cables are designed to connect devices using different connector sizes while maintaining standard 4-pin wiring, which helps eliminate rewiring, reduce installation time, and minimize common wiring errors.
The cables are reportedly well-suited for applications across automotive manufacturing, food and beverage washdown areas, material handling systems, and packaging and assembly equipment. Select versions offer drag chain and robotic capabilities, featuring rugged PUR jackets and designs that withstand repeated flexing, tight bend radii, and torsional stress caused by robotic movement.
