In July 2026, Molex introduced the Gemini Mezz Connector family, a compact, high-speed board-to-board solution designed to meet the extreme bandwidth demands of AI-driven data centers and high-performance computing .

The connector achieves 224Gbps+ PAM-4 data rates through fully shielded differential pair (DP) terminations that minimize crosstalk, EMI, and impedance variation—critical factors at next-generation speeds. The low-profile design has a 5.00mm stack height and supports up to 185 differential pairs in a grid-based layout .
