US Conec, Hakusan, and Sanwa Technologies Expand MMC Connector Supply Chain
US Conec, Hakusan, and Sanwa Technologies announced agreements to expand the industry supply of MMC VSFF connector and TMT ferrule components, strengthening the supply chain for high-density optical connectivity solutions .
Multi-Sourcing Agreements:
Sanwa Technologies will offer the MMC multi-fiber connector embodiment .
Hakusan will leverage its 35+ years of MT technology expertise to manufacture and supply the TMT ferrule in both x12 and x16 fiber variants .

Market Context:
Hyperscale data center architectures have migrated from traditional MPO cabling to the higher density and improved performance of the MMC connector platform. Emerging technologies employing co-packaged and embedded optics are also taking advantage of the MMC platform's higher densities for internal equipment connectivity and optical I/O .
