LS ELECTRIC Unveils Next-Generation AI-Integrated PLC at AW 2026
In March 2026, LS ELECTRIC, Korea's leading automation company, unveiled its new high-performance PLC, the SU-CM7, along with a wide range of future-oriented manufacturing AI solutions at the "2026 Smart Factory·Automation Industry Exhibition (AW 2026)" in Seoul .
Under the theme "With AI, factories become smarter and industry becomes safer," LS ELECTRIC showcased a Korean-style next-generation AI factory model alongside the new PLC. The SU-CM7 is designed as a "software-defined" controller, allowing customers to expand functions according to their needs. It dramatically increases processing speed, enabling a single PLC to control multiple devices simultaneously, making it suitable for controlling high-speed, complex lines .
The company is leveraging technologies used to build "Global Lighthouse Factories" to lead manufacturing AI transformation .
