Smithsonian's National Zoo Hosts Two Ticketed Halloween Events
The Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute is hosting two wildly popular after-hours events this October: Boo at the Zoo and Night of the Living Zoo .
Boo at the Zoo (Oct 16-18, family-friendly):
Trick-or-treating at over 25 stations
Pumpkin patch photo opportunities
Kids' dance party and frolicking skeleton vignettes
Indoor access to Small Mammal House, Elephant Community Center, and Reptile Discovery Center
Tickets: Members $29.75; General $35
Night of the Living Zoo (Oct 23, adults 21+):
Eight open bars with libations
Circus acts including aerialists and fire breathers
Live bands and DJs (Les the DJ and Cinema Hearts)
Tarot card readings and "Zoostrology"
