Guided Construction Site Tours Offer Behind-the-Scenes Access

Munich Tourism is offering exclusive guided tours of the massive Theresienwiese construction site – areas not normally open to the public . Guides provide fascinating insights into the schedule, logistical challenges, and how the beer gets into the tents. Tours run every Friday at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and from August 15 through September 5, additional Saturday tours at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sturdy footwear is required; children under six are not permitted .
