Rosenberger Joins EBO MSA to Advance Open Optical Connectivity Standards
Rosenberger announced its membership in the newly established Expanded Beam Optics (EBO) Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) , an industry alliance focused on developing open, interoperable optical connectivity standards for next-generation AI data centers .

Launched in May 2026 by industry leaders including 3M, AMD, Cisco, Meta, and Oracle .
Focuses on standardizing expanded beam fiber (EBO) connector solutions for AI and hyperscale data center applications .
Expanded beam technology offers advantages in reliability, ease of maintenance, contamination resistance, and high-density environments .
